1) Getting Started

Q1. What is Cricjust Premium?
A modern cricket scoring & tournament platform with match creation, live scoring, squads, commentary, stats, and beautiful UI.

Q2. Who can use it?
Scorers, team managers/captains, tournament admins, players, umpires, and fans who follow matches.

Q3. What are the device requirements?
Android with a recent OS (recommend Android 8.0+), stable storage, and internet for first login. Works in low‑network areas via offline scoring.

Q4. How do I create an account or sign in?
Open app → Login/Sign up → enter mobile/email → follow on‑screen steps (OTP or password, depending on your setup).

Q5. I didn’t receive an OTP. What should I do?
Check network/SMS block, wait 60s and tap Resend, or try an alternate number. If it persists, contact support.

2) Matches & Scoring

Q6. How do I create a One‑to‑One match vs a Tournament match?
Choose Start Match → select One‑to‑One (no tournament) or Tournament Match (choose tournament & match type). Fill match name, date/time, venue, overs, max overs per bowler, ball type, umpires.

Q7. How do I pick teams and players?
Select Team A/B → load team players → pick up to XI using the chip selector. Then set Captain and Wicket‑Keeperfor each team.

Q8. Can I select the same team on both sides?
Yes, if the organizer allows it. Some competitions prefer intrasquad/friendly formats.

Q9. How are Overs and Max overs per bowler enforced?
The app enforces both from match settings (and tournament rules where provided). A bowler cannot exceed the set limit.

Q10. Can the same bowler bowl consecutive overs?
No—if competition rules restrict it, the app prevents selecting the same bowler for back‑to‑back overs.

Q11. How do I record extras (WD/NB/BYE/LBYE)?
Tap Extras → choose type → enter runs if prompted. The app automatically treats wides/no‑balls as illegal deliveries.

Q12. How is a Free Hit handled?
After a no‑ball (per rules), the next ball is Free Hit. The UI displays it and scoring logic applies accordingly.

Q13. How do I record a wicket (including stumped)?
Tap Wicket → choose wicket type → select involved fielder/keeper if asked → Confirm.
Tip: For Stumped, you may pick any active keeper (not just the pre‑assigned one for the match). The selected player will be saved as the stumping fielder.

Q14. How do I swap strike?
Strike changes automatically on odd runs and certain extras/wickets per law. There’s also a Swap Strike action if needed.

Q15. I made a mistake. Can I Undo?
Yes, use Undo last ball. If the event has already synced to tournament control, your permissions may limit edits—contact your admin.

Q16. Where do I see last ball details?
Open the match timeline/last‑ball view for bowler/batter, over/ball number, runs/extras, and wicket info.

Q17. How do I pause/resume scoring?
You can temporarily leave the scoring screen—your state is preserved. Resume by reopening the match.

Q18. What is the Shot Type popup?
An optional selector that appears post‑ball to tag the shot played (e.g., cover‑drive). It enriches analytics and highlights.

3) Toss, Innings & Result

Q19. How do I save the toss?
On the match center, select Toss Winner and Decision (Bat/Bowl). This locks the innings order.

Q20. How are innings handled?
The app tracks first and second innings automatically based on toss/innings settings and prevents illegal transitions.

Q21. How do I end a match and set the result?
Tap End Match → choose Win/Draw/Tie → enter win by runs or wickets if applicable → confirm.

Q22. How do I select Player of the Match?
After ending the match (or via Result screen), select a player from either team and Save. It will appear in the summary.

4) Teams, Tournaments & Groups

Q23. How do I create or update a Team?
Use TeamsAdd/Update Team. You can set team name/logo and pick players via search/filters (role, batter hand, etc.).

Q24. How do Tournament and Group formats work?
For group tournaments, organizers can create groups and assign teams per group. Fixtures/stats reflect group standings.

Q25. Can I assign an existing team to a group?
Yes—admins can assign teams already created by users to specific groups without recreating them.

5) Venues & Scheduling

Q26. How do I add a venue?
Admins can go to VenuesAdd Venue, fill name/info/link, and save. Venues appear in match creation.

Q27. Can I edit or delete a venue?
Yes, if you have permission. Venue changes reflect in new matches; existing matches retain their saved venue info.

6) Live Streaming & Media

Q28. Can I stream matches to YouTube Live?
Yes—if enabled by your organizer. You’ll need a YouTube channel with live enabled and a stream key. Use your preferred encoder/app to broadcast; Cricjust can be used in parallel for scoring and overlays.

Q29. Can I share highlights or score overlays?
You can export/share match summaries and use third‑party tools for overlays. Direct overlay features depend on organizer setup.

7) Player Profiles & Statistics

Q30. Where can I view player profiles?
Tap a player name anywhere (scorecard, stats) to open profile with role, batting/bowling style, and performance.

Q31. What stats are available?
Live score, manhattan/worm graphs, run types, wicket types, top batters/bowlers, MVPs, and global/tournament leaderboards (where available).

8) Offline Scoring & Sync

Q32. Does Cricjust work offline?
Yes. Balls are stored locally if connectivity drops. When back online, data auto‑syncs. Use Sync Now to push immediately.

Q33. What if a ball was scored offline and I later need to edit it?
You can still undo/edit before final sync or before admin locks the match. After lock, contact the organizer.

9) Notifications, Sharing & Permissions

Q34. Can fans follow live scores?
Yes—organizers can share live match links or embed widgets. Availability can vary by event.

Q35. I can’t see certain buttons (add/edit/delete). Why?
Actions are permission‑aware. If a button is hidden/disabled, your role might not allow that action. Contact the admin.

10) Privacy, Data & Account

Q36. Who can see my match data?
Organizers and participants per event settings. Public/fan visibility depends on tournament configuration.

Q37. How do I correct or delete data?
Use in‑app edit/undo options where allowed. For data removal or errors, reach out to support with the match ID.

Q38. How do I change my name, photo, or email?
Go to ProfileEdit. Save changes and they’ll reflect across your matches.

11) Billing & Plans

Q39. Is Cricjust free?
The app is free to download. Some advanced/admin features may require organizer access or a plan. Check in‑app notices or contact support.

Q40. Do you offer custom features for leagues?
Yes. Reach out with your league’s needs (branding, streaming, custom stats) and we’ll guide you.

12) Troubleshooting

Q41. I can’t start a match.
Confirm required fields (teams, venue, date/time, overs, ball type) are filled. If part of a tournament, ensure the tournament & match type are selected.

Q42. Buttons are disabled or throw “not allowed”.
Your role may not have permission. Ask the organizer to grant scorer/admin access.

Q43. Network issues / data not saving.
Stay on the scoring screen. The app saves offline and syncs later. If you must exit, resume the match and tap Sync Nowwhen online.

Q44. Wrong bowler allowed?
The system prevents back‑to‑back overs and enforces max‑overs per bowler when configured. If rules differ, check match settings.

Q45. Stumping selection picks the wrong keeper.
During wicket entry, explicitly select the correct fielder/keeper you want credited—do not rely on the pre‑match keeper assignment.

Q46. Images not loading.
If a team/player logo is missing or invalid, the app shows a safe fallback. Ensure logos use valid URLs (https://…) or re‑upload.

Q47. App looks stretched/clipped.
Update to the latest version. If it persists on your device/resolution, report with a screenshot and phone model.

13) Make it Look Premium (Design Tips)

  • Use a gradient header (App primary → #42A5F5 → white) with subtle glass blur for pages like Home/FAQ.
  • Add small section icons for quick scanning:
    • Getting Started 🎯 · Scoring 🏏 · Teams 👥 · Tournaments 🏆 · Venues 📍 · Streaming 📺 · Stats 📊 · Offline ✈️ · Privacy 🔒 · Support 💬
  • Prefer Lottie micro‑animations (e.g., success, sync) and shimmer loaders for polish.
  • Keep typography clean (Bold headings, readable body), generous spacing, rounded cards, and soft shadows.

14) Need Help?

  • In‑app: Settings → Help & Support
