Orange Army Hold Nerve to Clinch Last-Over Thriller Against Royal Marble Eagle Fighter in Defender Cup

In Match 18 of the Defender Cup, Orange Army clinched a thrilling 2-wicket victory over Royal Marble Eagle Fighter, successfully chasing down a target of 164 runs in a nail-biting finish.

Orange Army’s chase was anchored by Davandeep Singh, who scored a crucial 38 off 28 balls (SR 135.71), and Maninder Singh, who added a quickfire 31 off 19 balls (SR 163.16). Despite losing wickets at regular intervals, Orange Army managed to reach the target, finishing at 164/8 in 20 overs.

The bowling efforts were notable on both sides. For Royal Marble Eagle Fighter, Naveen delivered an impressive spell, taking 3 wickets for 24 runs in his 4 overs (Economy 6.00), earning him the Golden Arm of the Match. Sidhu also contributed with 2 wickets for 10 runs in his 2 overs. For Orange Army, Jitesh Sitani took 2 wickets for 15 runs in his 3 overs, helping to restrict the opposition.
