In the fifth and final match of the Titan Cup series, SS Cricket Academy triumphed over Roaring Lions by 115 runs, securing the series 4-1. SS Cricket Academy won the toss and elected to bat, with Captain Mohd Ghazi and Faizan Khan opening. They built a formidable 189-run partnership, making it difficult for Roaring Lions’ bowlers to make breakthroughs. Ghazi was bowled by Bhanu Rajpoot in the 18th over after scoring 89 runs off 59 balls, including 12 fours and 2 sixes. Faizan Khan followed in the 19th over, contributing 90 runs off 63 balls with 8 fours and 5 sixes. SS Cricket Academy posted a daunting total of 203 runs.
Roaring Lions’ chase began poorly with Captain Bilal Ahmad run out by Arjun Palei in the first over and Yuvraj Singh bowled by Vicky in the third over. Despite a brief resistance from Guruvachan Singh, who scored 25 runs, the team collapsed, losing all wickets by the 17th over for just 88 runs.
Mohd Ghazi’s all-round performance earned him Player of the Match and Striker of the Match with a strike rate 167. The series concluded with SS Cricket Academy winning convincingly. Bilal Ahmad was named Player of the Tournament, Faizan Khan had the most runs, Yuvraj Singh hit the fours, Faizan Khan had the most sixes, and Bilal Ahmad took the most wickets throughout the series.
